Statement

Monster Productions was founded by Chris Speyer and Ieuan Einion after thirteen years of creative early years theatre for Northern Stage. Prior to this, Chris Speyer had pioneered early years theatre with his London Based company 'Theatre Kit'. We believe early years theatre supports and stimulates the imaginative, cognitive and emotional development of young children. Monster Productions works with young children through interactive performances. When creating new pieces, we begin by listening to and observing young children. We take their concepts of the world as our starting points. We tell our stories visually and musically as well as verbally, placing great emphasis on visual and musical production values.
